Connecting and Empowering Young Professionals in Amusement Safety
There are several ways for Young Professionals to get involved, gain hands-on experience, and build meaningful connections within the amusement industry.
AIMS Ambassador Program
The AIMS Ambassador Program offers young professionals the opportunity to volunteer at the AIMS International Safety Seminar, assisting with seminar operations while gaining firsthand exposure to attendees, sponsors, and industry leaders. Ambassadors are selected through an interview process and play a key role in the successful execution of the event.
Education Programs
As part of the AIMS International Safety Seminar, the Young Professionals Group offers a dedicated learning track designed specifically for those new to the amusement industry. This cohort features a full lineup of classes focused on foundational industry knowledge, core safety principles, and professional development—giving attendees the tools and confidence to get ahead early in their careers.
Networking Events
Each November, during the IAAPA Expo, the AIMS Young Professionals Group hosts a YP meetup. This event provides members with the opportunity to connect with fellow Young Professionals and engage with AIMS sponsors and industry professionals from across the amusement industry.
Volunteer Projects
Young Professionals may participate in a variety of volunteer project opportunities, including but not limited to:
